My wife Shilpi and I have spend 3 of the best years of our life living at 39 Mt Hood Rd #4.

Shilpi and I fell in love with this place the minute we first walked in. We snatched up the place right away because the previous owner threatened to do an open house.

Here’s the thing, in this area an open house often leads to bidding wars. Prospective buyers bid up the price while the owner is laughing to the bank!

Buying this place was the best decision we’ve ever made because we’ve enjoyed some of the happiest years of our life at 39 Mt Hood Rd #4.

Why are we moving out?

  • Heating and Hot Water Include: Oh … I forget to tell you, heating and hot water is included. All you pay is the gas for the stove and water which is VERY cheap.
  • Ceiling Fans in EVERY Room, Even the Kitchen: In the interest of full disclosure I’m sorry to say we have no air conditioning. But you know what? It doesn’t matter because this place has ceiling fans in EVERY rooms. You’ll stay cool and comfortable even on sweltering hot summer days.

What’s the condition of this apartment? Well, you’ve seen the pictures, but you can’t see $10k+ we’ve spend renovating the place:

  • Take a look at the picture of the bathroom below, we invested $7,645.00 re-tiling the shower.

Shilpi and I thought about it and we realized that we could have barely afforded that back when we first moved it. We don’t want to be greedy, especially in this troubled economic times.
